Open TPU

Open TPU is an editor that includes features and functions compatible with the VMS® TPU editor. Open TPU takes advantage of the power of UNIX, while preserving the VMS user's most popular and useful routines.

Open TPU provides VAX users with familiar VMS-style editor interfaces including EVE, EDT, and WPS. Included are 100 functionally equivalent VMS TPU subroutines.

OpenTPU offers a wide variety of editing functions, powerful pattern matching, and extensive library or language support features that are easy to learn and even easier to use. Power, versatility and compatability make editing for VMS users on UNIX fast and easy.
